A beautifully written and thought provoking story. I found myself really drawn in by the character of Zettie and her choice to stop talking. The descriptions of the sounds she hears were magnificently done and I often found myself wondering what would happen if we all took a moment to listen a little more. Highly recommend this small but mighty novel.
